Where we came from.
CGT Marketing was created in 2009, but the roots of our company took hold in the 1980s, when Mitch Tobol, Fred Candiotti and Vince Grucci were young men with a passion for marketing and advertising. In 1981 Mitch (the “T” in CGT) formed the Tobol Group, and then in 1987 Fred and Vince (the “C” and “G” in CGT) launched Candiotti and Grucci. In 2004 Candiotti and Grucci purchased Cooper Leder, a well-known Long Island ad agency, to form CGL Communications. CGL Communications and Tobol Group merged in February 2009 to become the CGT Marketing we are today, a full service Long Island advertising and digital marketing agency providing clients with proven services in all areas of marketing, from traditional to the latest in digital.

Since 1994, Bill has been using his talents to integrate design components with branding elements. As the Associate Creative Director he transforms creative ideas into compelling print and digital solutions while working closely with the Creative Director and overseeing our production design team. With 25 years of award-winning annual reports, collateral, websites, and advertising, Bill has been honored by Print Magazine, LIAC and the NY Art Directors Club. Bill holds a BFA in Advertising/Marketing and a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. Bill relaxes by “feeding his spirit and soul” with skiing, biking, sprint triathlons, and expanding his personal photography portfolio.
Since 1999, Donna’s been handling all things media – in print and online. As Media and Production Manager her responsibilities include ad placement, production, vendor interactions, scheduling, tracking, proofreading, and overall project management. From the time we enter the office to the time we leave, we all count on Donna to know where everything — and everyone – is.
Previously, Donna managed a company that produced and distributed educational materials for corporations such as Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, CIBA-Geigy and Texaco.
Donna’s relaxes and renews her unstoppable energy and infectious good humor by traveling, reading—and zumba-ing!
Sue has been an Account Manager at CGT since 2004. She began her career as a medical illustrator working with prestigious medical schools including Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Pennsylvania. She then applied her informed intelligence to help pharmaceutical companies, such as Bristol Myers Squibb, to strategize, position and brand their HIV products and educational materials. Since joining CGT, Sue has been building integrated campaigns in the healthcare fields, especially dental, medical, and neutraceuticals. As an experienced marathoner and an avid globe trotter, Sue energizes us all.
Melissa is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a Master of Arts in English. After working at the SUNY New Paltz School of Business during her graduate career, she discovered her passion for marketing writing. She now has over five years of experience including creating social media posts for popular, top brands. She has a proven track record for increasing engagement and growing social media audiences, which makes her the perfect fit for CGT.
Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys cooking vegan meals, qigong, hula hooping, coffeehouse dwelling, and learning about natural healing.
Natalie is our amazing Traffic Manager. She is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all of CGT Marketing’s work. She ensures all projects are progressing on time and deadlines are met. Natalie is a super team player and her upbeat personality is infectious. As a self-described ‘beach nut’, Natalie can be found relaxing on a beach, surfing in the waves or building sand sculptures as soon as the warm weather rolls in.
When it comes to anything digital, Art is the man. His knowledge of digital marketing techniques, as well as being a ‘Wiz’ with IT issues, makes Art an integral part of the CGT Marketing team. When he’s not using his technical skills at work, Art is an avid traveler and outdoorsman.
